Hi everyone, welcome to the last friday of the year 2011! I'm excited, how about you?
As we slowly come to the end of this year my thoughts linger to the many things that have changed for me this year.
It’s been almost a year since I started my blog and on this wonderful scrapbooking journey. It still has a ways to go, my little blog still needs some work, but it’s been a great beginning. Although I’ve started and stopped…started and stopped working with paper and crafting over the years it never really stuck until I put all my heart in it. It was always something I was fond of but I always seemed to let other endeavors come between me and this widely appreciated habit.
I wanted to at least share one last layout with you for the year. I fell in love with this floral fabric strip the moment I saw it, and of course I didn't know how or when I would use it. I thought it went with this wood grain patterned paper. Which I'm totally in love with also! I have a weakness for anything woodgrain!
Those October afternoon tin buttons are awesome! I need about 10 packs of them to hoard because once they are gone they will definitely be classics!
I used several little elements on this page including some cute pom poms. Sometimes you just gotta use and embellishment because it's just so darn cute!
I loved this photo because of the expression on my nieces face even though the photo is not so clear. Sometimes flaws in photos give them a certain appeal. I like grainy, hazy and sometimes blurry photos, there I said it!
I hope to make an appearance here again before the new year! Wishing you all a Happy weekend. Take Care
