“Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.”

― Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love |
One of my favorite quotes from this book...What a process it is to learn that happiness is not a thing or an amount but more like a feeling that you work at keeping. A faith that you work at keeping strong despite the outside world. Faith is the spring we all wish we could hold onto.
A feeling that everything will be okay...it's a feeling of moving through the madness with ease, not because things are easy but having faith that you will end up on the otherside okay.
Just a little something I've been feeling today on the 1st of march. Something that I've been needing to remind myself. I can feel spring in the air, it's always the happiest time for me! Everyone else as ready for springs approach as me?
I didn't want the week to go by without stopping in to say hello! Have a great week and weekend everyone!
