It's been so hard lately to put the watercolors down! Making these little art cards has been a nice break from working on scrap pages. Although I don't really tire of it I do like to play around a little with new techniques. So with a little tape and some great acrylic 246 Ib art paper I've taken to making these little art cards. Usually the paper buckles a little but not with this really thick paper. And it has a really cool linen finish that lets the watercolor pigments fall into the crevices. I love the effect!
No photo here. I just wanted to use that really cute jar paper from dear lizzy. I had no idea how I was gonna use it until I started making these little cards. I have more to show...promise!
I love the idea of creating and I think it's something we do all the time even without knowing it. We cook and decorate our houses. There is a little creating in everything we do. That's what I tell people who say they are not creative. You just have to explore, it's all about letting go and exploring.
I adore all the layers and bright colors. It's just so girly and sweet. Now all I have to do is find some great neon watercolors! I don't even know if they make those but I'm on the hunt!
Just checking in to say hello...I've missed a few days but I have been working on some things. I have three layouts at the moment just waiting to be glued down. I'll be back around from time to time to share more of my little art cards.
Have a great weekend everyone!

Gorgeous!
