The Creative type...

Happy Mother's day Everyone! I hope if you're a mother you got to pamper yourself a little bit. I had a nice lunch with my sister...a little happy hour time and me time. Just what I need every now and then! I think it imperative to take some time out even if only and hour or two of just sitting still.

Over at The Creative type the challenge for the month was to create a layout all about empowerment. Your worries and concerns, the things you embrace about your life and the things you have learned to let go. 

I wanted to create something with a little color and text, something really fun. 

With each passing day I am inspired to create things that I love. When I was younger it was very hard for me because living a creative life is not always supported in school especially because it meant that you were different. So now as an adult I feel like if it's a passion of mine I have to celebrate and explore it even if I'm on my own! Life is just too short!

We all wish we had more time just sitting around in a jar, I certainly do but that's just not how it works. Cherish your time, be as authentic as you can, be grateful and just enjoy yourself!  In my thirties I didn't think about it as much but now I take time to appreciate where I am and the gifts that I have.
