"One of the advantages of being disorderly is that one is constantly making exciting discoveries."
-A.A. Milne
I'm a little random and all over the place sometimes and I think I've let time get away from me a bit lately! And it's not for the lack of things to share, I've just been juggling, getting a little lost in creative thoughts, playing with glitter! ha Learning to mash all the things that I enjoy working with together on scrapbook pages is always a challenging thing.
For this project I used one of my watercolor cards and changed the format a bit...I punched circles into the sides to create a sort of stamp shape. I love the added texture.
It may be the question I ask myself all the time...how to make a page with simplicity and style while incorporating a little of my personality.
This page became all about the hand cut florals and rub ons. The little clouds are from the dear lizzy vellum and they are just too dreamy!
It became apparent that I don't have very many photos of me...I'm always the photo taker! thank goodness for a cell phone to be able to take random pics. Sometimes I just want to express my joy and gratitude for the simple things, art, memories...That's more of what this page was about.
I hope everyone has enjoyed the weekend, Me and my family enjoyed a hot day at the zoo for our first day of summer with the kids. We had a great time despite the 90 something degree weather! I hope to be back soon! Until later...
Take Care
