I didn't really think that much of the Heyday collection at first glance. I thought the colors might be too peachy and it kind of reminded me of sunny delight which I never really liked! But I have come around to be very taken with it. One because it goes with yellow and neon orange very well and two a lot of my photos from instagram have a warm glow to them especially earlybird and some of the more vintage films. The pink patterns go very well with the peach and orange patterns. It's a color palette I have come to appreciate as well it is such a lovely reminder of summer!
Along with my constant doodling lately on white cardstock I've started the same practice on patterned paper. I love the subtle mix of patterns layered with one another.
I had a lot of fun playing with this collection pack and have a few other layouts planned in similar tones. Once again the pendulum swings and I am back to using my neons and bright colors again. I love working my way around the color wheel although I tend to stay more on one side then all over.
Stay tuned there might be al little lavender or red working it's way onto a few of my future layouts!
