Little moments

So I’m really not sure where the time went this week…it passes and you find yourself in a sort of routine of trying to get enough zzz’s, eating a few meals a day, cleaning and so much more!  I’ve gotten a few crafty things done this week, one in particular that is a little hush hush, and others of my own that I hope to share.   

One thing that tends to take up a lot of time is photo editing. It's definitely a love/hate relationship for me. I’ve been wanting to upgrade my photoshop editing tools and in the process realized that some other things need updating as well.  Uuuuuggg! I’ve been wanting to try lightroom for so long! Anyone else use it? You can add such great effects to your photos.

I created this layout a few weeks ago when I had just started including my own doodled cutouts so I thought I'd share it here today.

At least once a month I like to try something new to add into my layouts and from time to time that is stamping. I think it incorporates a very interesting layer to a layout, something that draws the eye to it and adds more interest. For this layout I created a few glittered circles on the page and some that pop off the page. Glitter is so freaking rebellious yet so fun.  I’ve gotten a little better at the clean up, so I don’t find it in my hair and face too much anymore.  You also have to remember not to breathe too hard! Smile!!!

Somehow paintchips always end up on my layout. I think I see it as a way to add more color and I've always loved the ombre effect they have. 

This was a little exploration for me in layered details and I do love the added dimension of the circles. 

I do hope everyone is enjoying the weekend! I'm hoping to complete some things by focusing over the next few days. So wish me luck...

girl your stamped glittered circles rock! I am totally scraplifting this idea!! I feel the same way about it - I love the idea of using glitter and i love the look of it...but it's so messy and what's odd is I love getting messy..but I find myself shying away from glitter time and time again because of the cleanup. You rocked this!

Thanks everyone! I recently did a few very layered layouts some featuring little circles in the bsckground! It's so fun to tack on the layers!

April: it's not so bad if you use a 12x12 sheet underneath while you're working and use the same paper to get your glitter back in the bottle! It seems to get easier every time! I love glitter though, I was always the one with the glittered nails or glittery lotion!
