Today I have a shiny new layout to share, something bright and airy and full of spunk! Something that became so dear to me and says me in a layout, so to speak! For the last few days I just didn't feel that pop that I like when it comes to my layouts, yes sometimes they just don't turn out the way I planned.
But today is a different day! The projects I worked on this week are some of my very favorites.
I started here with a few scraps leftover from another layout that I looked at and figured the colors were so wonderful that I just started layering them. There is some crate paper mixed in with a little basic grey and paper pack collections. I actually got the inspiration from one of my pins here: Pinterest And of course I had to throw in a few clouds because there just so darn cute! Don't know quite why this trend started but I'm all on board!
In my time working on the Sei design team I've had some definite favorites in their collections. This time around they have these wonderful fabric pages that were a love at first site for me! I used a swatch of it here on the back of my floral photo. I will have to grab a few more in this pattern for sure. It's so new that I really don't have a good photo to share yet.
Time is flying by at breaking speeds lately! I don't know if its my age or what but I'm constantly anxious about all the things I need to get done. I need to develop more as an artist and take some classes, I need a new camera, I need to upgrade my paints, I want a fancy new apple computer with the big screen! I need to do this and that! It's never ending the things we feel we need to do!
Then there are days when I slow down, take a breathe and realize how far i've come. I really have developed more over the last year. I'm taking more of the chances I want to take! Two years ago I didn't have a DSLR camera I had a little point and shoot camera, I didn't know what instagram or photoshop actions were. It's all a matter of perpective!
Just live and continue to grow and most of all have faith that you are on your path is what I continue to say to myself.
This page was all about telling the story of what I like in 2012, where I am and how I would love to come across as a scrapbooker and artist. I hope you liked my little bit of eye candy and thanks for stopping by and joining me on this journey!
Take care!

Very nice! And I agree, it's hard to turn down the noise in your head and just enjoy where you are right now!
