Yes I know it's been a minute since I've showed my face around here...believe me things have been hectic, wierd, and all in between! Lets see we had thanksgiving, black friday (I completely missed that one this year) and well a little post sinus infection shopping. It's a little hard to keep me from that one, I just had to pop a few vitamins and meds and bundle up then I was off! Off to do what little damage I could do, get a few gifts under my belt for others and of course for me! ha ha
I have managed to keep a few projects going despite my slight illness over this past weekend. You can hardly stop me from pullling my papers, glue and bags of stuff out into the living room while Once upon a time or some housewives of something plays in the background! It's a must and helps keep my mind off my stuffy head! (smile)
I couldn't resist the pull of making leaves over and over again in all sorts of ways. I glittered leaves, sketched and painted them till my heart was content. Green has been the color of the last few days and more of a christmas green or a deep forest green. The glittered leaves came out pretty cool because I got my hands on a few more bottles of glitter in some dark emerald tones. I wanted to give the tips just a hint of color.
Sometimes I forget about a balance and just go with using an overabundance of something that I enjoy. It could be hearts, trees, or in this case leaves. I really never get tired of making florals of any kind.
I hope everyone had an amazing holiday and are getting to make some great memories with friends and family. This is the one time of year where it's ok to make a big deal, celebrate, and give thanks for all we have and all we've had to endure throughout the year. Cheers to you!
Take care...See ya soon ...
