I wanted to stop in and share a little light with everyone! I hope you all are having an amazing week. We here in florida could not ask for better weather the last few days. It all ends today though with a particularly nasty system headed our way. We'll be back in the miserable 30's again...bhrrrr, I'm not too fond of the cold but I know in some places that would be a heat wave.
I wanted to work with a bright fresh palette here using light blue and a little lavender to go along with a lovely photo of the sky. And the clouds which have always been a favorite of mine just had to be included in some fun way. I painted a small piece and glittered it, then it was used behind some little cloud cutouts propped up using pop dots. I love the hazy imperfect effect it creates! Using cutouts and frames is one of my favorite things to do and this was the perfect time to use it.
I'm particular fond of the blues these days especially when mixed with a little lavender or purple. I find when I paint using blue I mix in a little bit of black or lavender to make a more luscious color.
You cannot imagine the amount of projects I have going on the past week. I think I've been doing more creating in the past week then any other time. I think that little holiday called Valentine's day is what's gotten me so inspired. I can't wait to share some things which involve cards...paint and of course glitter! I love seeing how all the blogs interpret the holiday and I can't wait to share mine! So stay tuned for more pink and purple around my little space...
Also I have a few layouts to share from over at Cocoa Daisy soon! Take care everyone!
