I've been very bad getting a post up here lately...I think I've been more off balance then usual with my creative time. All of this preparing for our local Art market has me all wound up! I'm excited because I didn't do much last year because of some stressful changes in my life and the year before that I really enjoyed selling at the market! This year I've been determined to go full steam ahead! So pardon me if I miss two or three or four days of sharing on the blog!
My last few projects were all centered around valentines day. I made more layouts, cards and tags then I think I ever have so of course it has to spill over into this week...and next. There are still more love and hearts to be shared. This layout was centered around some really cool glittered alphas that I made. First painted than glittered and then cut them out. They are just deliciously light and airy in person. A bit jagged but I really liked how they came out.
I love experimenting with paint and glitter. The idea that the imperfections make something so unique is what I love most about it.
This next layout was made more than two months ago and I am just now getting around to sharing it! I think I might be out of my leaf phase for awhile. I'm more into the flowers and glittered lettering, But I still love drawing them and coloring them in. The closer we get to spring I'm sure that phase will return.
I loved this saying " we must do the things we think we cannot do". You never know what the outcome will be but you will have expanded your horizons for sure.
I hope to return with a few more layouts sooner than later! Hopefully! I hope everyone has had a great week!
