I can't believe I haven't been able to get some time at my computer in quite awhile! I wanted to pop in for a quick hello and a peak at the Studio Calico Park Ave kits! Oh how I love the colors this month!
Getting myself in gear has proven to be a bit of a challenge these last few weeks! Between being a little under the weather a few days last week to just having too many ideas spilling out all over the place I haven't been able to focus much. Then all of a sudden one day I sort of wake up and create lots of things and get lots of photos taken. I've missed doing a more styled post sharing some fun and colorful things. Looking at some of my post from past seasons it kind of got me thinking I got away from doing the more fun and inspiring post that I love preparing. So I thought I'd get back to it for awhile. How about green? Why of course...it's my favorite.
I've been working with all of the lovely things from the Maggie Holmes Open book collection and her collections always inspire me most because of the colors. There are all sorts of color combinations you can create and she always has the most pretty greens, pinks and blues in her collections. I was inspired this last week by the greens and I made lots of tags and hopefully a little gratitude book to share soon.
Here are just a few tidbits I had piling up...
I'm not ready to get started officially with the holiday season and I am still completly smitten with fall! No holiday post from me for another week! hee hee It just all rolls around for me entirely too soon!
Hope to share a few sneaks of my golden season gratitude mini shortly!
One of my absolute favorite places to be is in a garden and a few weeks back I went to the Atlanta Botanical garden and took lots and lots of photos of all the beautiful foliage around. I know that it's winter for some folks but here in florida we are just getting into the 60's and 70's! I thought I'd share a few photos from my little adventures. It was a beautiful day that day and I may or may not have taking almost 100 photos! hee hee
I wanted to pop in and share my projects for the studio calico walden kits. They are awesome as usual with things that always push me out of my contort zone a little bit. I love the eclectic mix of papers and add ons just right for some of the upcoming holidays.
I played around with some paints and watercolors on my projects using the main kit!
I adore using colors outside of the norm sometimes and the vellum leaves in one of the add-on kits where just perfect for this! I often see purples and mahogany colors in some of the trees! Fall colors are just the loveliest of all!
I love taking every opportunity to get outside and enjoy the season! I'm so inspired by all the color and changes of fall! That might be just a little evident in my projects this month! The stamps are awesome and the digital design are just right for upcoming projects! Boy do I wish I had more time in a day!
