I thought I'd stop in today to share something fun and easy to make. I'm always making something and spend my time strolling through the isles in Michaels craft store thinking of things to make, or paint on! I saw these pretty white books in the kids section and wondered what I could do with them. One day I said " why yes, why not paint them"! So I grabbed a few.
They are a bright white with blank pages inside, and these are hard cover. There are others with a more soft cover but I wasn't sure how those would take watercolor or painted. These were perfect to paint on because there was no buckling! Yay!
For this one I took my time and painted lots of little sections with watercolor and waited for them to dry. I repeated the process a few times to get a layered look.
Are you getting crafty for the season? I can see grabbing a handful of these and having a fun night of painting and wine! That's my favorite RNR!
Thanks for stopping by!
