Hi everyone! Happy New Year!
I thought I'd jump in head first this year with a full blown post about a little spur of the moment project. One of the things I really love is styling so I plan on getting back to doing more of these post this year.
I never really make new years resolutions... instead I just tell myself that I'll do better, be better at doing the things I love because really everything seems to fall into place after that! 2014 sure did have a few challenges but I consider them to be learning experiences that always keep me grounded and thankful. Living each day is amazing and even with its challenges deserves gratitude.
One of the challenges for me last year was to paint more and rolling into 2015 I hope to continue my progress. In doing that I tend to have lots of artwork laying around, some just practicing patterns and flowers others that I love more. Just the other day I bought these cute little frames from michaels and had a few at home. I decided to cut pieces of my pracice pages to fit into my frames and I love finding the best elements of a piece of work and placing it in a frame. Finding these fun little moments that you love even on a practice page is really gratifying!
Seeing these little darlings really inspire me more to keep painting and makeing more pretty moments on a page. Watercolor is my favorite these days because they create so many unexpected and pretty moments.
Thanks for stopping by throughout the year and seeing what I've been up to!
Cheers to an awesome 2015!
Cheers to you!
