I've learned over the years to appreciate the season for what it brings. Color changes, cool down, clouds and all. I used to be an all summer girl and couldn’t wait for that season and that season only to appear. But now I’ll admit I fall for autumn and all that it brings. I love painted pumkins, hot chocolate on cool days and scarves. I especially love the golden hues.
I think I may sprayed paint a few pumkins this year in a shiny gold along with all the other polymer clay projects I have in mind and of course scrapbooking.
I know I've been missing around here for far more than I ever intended, but hopefully I'll get back in the swing of things with my post. Before I move on to other crafty adventures I wanted to share a few more pages of my Gratitude journal.
I love this one for all its contrast and leftover tidbits of spring.
A lot of the pages have some sort of journaling on the back or a tag attached. I may add small fall photos or other little things as we move into fall. I want to fill it up with all sorts of memories and happy things about this season. And when I'm all done I'll probably wrap with some ribbon and put it in a box to keep it safe.
I really loved working with these colors for the fall season. The greens, golden tones and turquoise colors are some of my faves to work with. Over the last two weeks I have worked on this little journal and it still needs a few more things but I have already made plans for the next one. I'm not sure what the theme will be yet but the colors are just devine!
What are your plans for the fall? Me and my son are off to Atlanta in a few weeks to enjoy some of the touristy things and the cooler weather. I hope to get some great photos and relax a bit. It's still hot here in florida but I feel a tinge of fall in the air!
Thanks for stopping by today!
