News...

If you asked me back when I was little what I wanted to be when I grew up I might have said a ballerina or artist, then later on an astronaut or architect, still later that changed to a doctor. As I got older I slowly began to realize what I was and not what others thought I should be. That takes quite a bit of honesty and comes along with a fair amount of fear. To follow your on path. Now that I'm on that path I see the amount of courage it takes! If only I had that amount of courage as a child! But as they say "it's never too late to become what you might have been". 

So now I find myself exploring and evolving! 

I wanted to share some news! Some exciting news! I got asked to join the Design team over at STAEDTLER! A company that creates all sorts of wonderful things such as watercolor pencils, pastels, markers and writing instruments. Some of these tools I still have from my days in college. 

I've been so excited to start on this journey I had to create a few things using some of my STAEDTLER fineliners. These are things I do everyday anyway so they came easily and quickly. My love of sketching and florals lead me to start another journal about these things and all the colors of fall. I decided to share a few sneaks! These are pages and cards that will stay on my desk as inspiration and I will share them once I get a few completed with the final book completed hopefully before the holiday season. 

 

 

I hope to share more soon, I'll be back around with a layout or two, just a few that I never got around to sharing.
