I've been a little mia lately so I figured I have to get back in the swing of things. Sometimes I get on a roll with posting and sometimes I just can't get to the computer or even take photos. We had quite a bit of bad weather over this Easter weekend so I didn't push myself to complete some projects.
So here I am today finally getting some things completed. I have a bad habit of starting layouts, like 3-5 at a time and then finishing them all in one day after they have sat for days. Other days I complete a page in under 2 hours. I was lucky to get a 4 day weekend so I worked on a lot of things and played with my paints a little.
For this page I started it today and completed it today...Well I cut the flowers and leaves out last night and then the little pie chart flowers. I'm not really sure what got me on the pie chart kick, I think it might have been a photo on pinterest. Once I started cutting them out I just couldn't stop. This is the first month of spring so I've been cutting out all sorts of branches and floral things. I love this season and all the fun and colorful things that come along with it!
This was one of those layouts where I just wanted to throw everything on the page and be really extravagant with my layering. I started pulling out all sorts of things from my stash. It's always good to go back through your stash from past years because you never know what you might be into now that you weren't then.
I love making layouts where I get to paint or use my coloring pencils. It just brings out the little girl in me. hee hee
