I always think of pulling out my paint brush when I start a project. Someway somehow watercolors or acrylics seem to make it on a page. The inspiration for this page began with my almost daily watercolor practice of drawing leaves and flowers. I've been in love with my new gouache paints in pretty greens and mint colors, and they mix well when I'm working with watercolors. They are just slightly more opaque.
I began by painting a few leaves on my white cardstock and then built my page around them. I just love a vibrant pop of color! I added lots of painted die cuts and layered them for dimension. It's so fun to play with all of these elements.
Hope you all are having a nice week! See ya soon!
Kim
