I've been laying low hoping to get lots of things done, exploring my painting a bit more but still crafting like a happy camper! In between work and shuffling my son back and forth I grab little bits of time. At the moment I have 3 paintings spread out that I'm working waiting for paint to dry!
I wanted to share the beginning of a little art journal I'm working on as well. If I can't throw paint on a canvas I'm throwing it on paper. For instance I took lots of patterns and painted them with pretty colors. Then used my silhouette to cut out lots of flowers for my journal.
It makes my day just to grab a pile of papers and paint! My tip for better crafting or should I say more efficient crafting is to paint, watercolor and cut out plenty of things before you ever start anything new. That usually works best for me since I have small amounts of time usually. Once I'm done I let them dry and then lay them under something heavy to flatten out.
Im on my way to finishing my journal with a few photos and quotes. My first little spring journal! I hope to share it in it's entirety in a few weeks!
Take care!
Everything you create seems to have a touch of spring! ;)
